Exploring Dublin
Begin the day with a walking tour of Dublin hosted by a local Dubliner. Your local guide will tell the tales of Dublin's past, as well as point out current favorites, and off the beaten path finds. After the walk you might want to try pouring your own pint at the guinness storehouse, wonder at the Book of Kells at Trinity College, or simply sit back with a pint with your new travel companions.

Into the west
Today journey into the west of Ireland to the town of Galway. We'll travel by local train, with a travel time of 2 hours. Galway has a vibrant arts scene, and you'll see buskers along the cobble stone streets rain or shine. Get acquainted with Galway with a walking tour from a local Galwegian. After the walk it's time for lunch at one of Ireland's best rated pizza shops, The Dough Bros. Learn how the Bros are making pizza the Irish way. After lunch why not take a walk along the Salthill prom, or catch a traditional music session at a local pub.

Kylemore Abbey & Sheep Farm Visit
Today you leave the towns behind as you travel into the wild of the Connemara mountains. Travel is by private coach (1 hr 20 min). Explore the beautiful Kylemore Abbey and walled gardens before heading to a sheepdog demonstration from a local farmer. After a day in the rugged west, you'll return to Galway for the evening.

Step back in time
Today you'll depart Galway bound for the charming town of Doolin. From here, board a ferry to the smallest of the Aran Islands, Inis Oirr. This small island is home to only 300 inhabitants, and you may hear the Irish language spoken. After a return to the mainland, you'll head to the Cliffs of Moher visitor center. Enjoy the spectacular cliff views. If the water is too rough to visit the island, you'll have the option for a cliff walk instead.

Today you'll return to Dublin by train. After dropping off luggage, we'll head into the Dublin mountains with a local guide to visit off the beaten path local pubs.
